Renal Pathology

LSUHSC-Shreveport Renal Consultative Services offers consultations in renal pathology and urologic pathology.

Tests include:   Light microscopy, immunofluorescent microscopy, and electron microscopy

Molecular Pathology 

The Molecular Pathology Laboratory at LSUHSC-S is advancing optimal patient care using an integrated, multidisciplinary approach. Patients benefit from the comprehensive diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic information generated by our state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and consultative services.

Tests include: Flow Cytometry, Fluorescence In-Situ Hybridization (FISH), DNA Analysis, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Molecular Genetics, and Cytogenetics.
