Test Process and Timeline

Timelines vary per the test requested. Archival material (i.e. paraffin ) requires additional testing time versus fresh specimen. Specimens are processed upon receipt. Cytogenetics studies require additional time for culture and chromosome preparation. Multiple testing endpoints on a single specimen may delay final results. Test Images, Reports Extranet &the Pathology Hotline

Clients may coordinate with us to retrieve testing images in the Extranet fileshare. This secure online filestore is designed for large images and reports that have been sanitized of patient identifying information. Plan on using your case ID number or reference number to identify foldrs and files.
