The Rising L2 counselor application for Camp Tiger 2026 will be available soon!
As you all know, Camp Tiger is our class service project which is a week-long summer day camp for children with special health needs that has been organized and staffed by first–year medical students at LSUSOM since 1985.
This tradition has been entrusted to us to continue providing our campers with a safe, fun, and special experience! Although Camp Tiger participation is voluntary, it is expected of our class! As our Camp Tiger Director Charlie stated in the fall, “this is OUR CLASS SERVICE PROJECT and requires all our combined efforts as a class to successfully pull off an amazing camp for the kids!”
As a Rising L2, you will not only have the opportunity to give your camper the best experience, but also create new connections with the incoming L1s! They
are already excited to be a part of CampTiger and I look forward to receiving your applications, so we can all work together to make Camp Tiger 2024 the best one yet!
Please note applications are due by April 23, 2026.
The following positions should NOT apply to be a counselor:
Secretary, Treasurers, Food Chairs, Transportation Chairs, and Photographer/Videographer
